Effective November 1, 2026
The short version
- No cookies. No analytics. No ad pixels, session recording, or tracking scripts of any kind.
- No accounts, sign-up forms, newsletters, or checkout on this site.
- Our fonts and images are hosted on our own site, so loading a page doesn't send your details to font or video companies.
- If you email us, we use what you send to reply to you. That's it.
- We don't sell or share your personal information. We have nothing to sell.
We do have actual cookies in the office. You can't have those either.

Who we are
Blind Harbor Studio is a d/b/a (trade name) of Nocturn Films LLC ("we," "us," "our"). This policy covers blindharborstudio.com (the "Site"). If you have a question about it, email admin@nocturnfilms.com.
Information we collect
Information you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write. We only get this if you choose to contact us.
Technical information handled by our host. The Site is served by Cloudflare, Inc. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes basic request data so it can deliver pages and protect the Site from abuse: your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for, and the time of the request. Cloudflare handles this under its own privacy policy. We may see aggregate traffic numbers in our hosting dashboard. We don't use this information to identify you, and we don't combine it with anything else.
Things we don't collect. We don't use cookies, local storage for tracking, web beacons, fingerprinting, analytics services, advertising networks, or social media plugins. We don't knowingly collect sensitive information.
A setting saved on your device. If you press "Pause animations," your browser remembers that choice in its local storage so the next page stays still too. It stays on your device, we never receive it, and you can clear it any time by pressing "Play animations" or clearing your browser's site data.
How we use information
- To read and reply to your messages.
- To keep a record of our correspondence with press, partners, and players.
- To keep the Site secure and working.
- To meet legal obligations, or to protect our rights if we have to.
If you're in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our legal basis for handling your email is our legitimate interest in answering messages people send us, and in some cases taking steps at your request before entering into an agreement with you.
How we share information
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising (the term California law uses). We only share information with:
- Service providers who run things for us, such as our web host and our email provider, and only so they can provide that service.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
- A successor, if Nocturn Films LLC or Blind Harbor Studio is ever reorganized, merged, or sold. This policy would still apply to information collected under it.
How long we keep it
We keep emails for as long as we need them to deal with your message and keep reasonable business records, then delete them. You can ask us to delete your messages sooner.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including California, other U.S. states with privacy laws, the EEA, and the UK, you may have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we have about you and get a copy of it.
- Ask us to correct or delete it.
- Object to or restrict how we use it.
- Opt out of any sale or sharing. We don't do either, but you're welcome to tell us anyway.
- Not be treated differently for using any of these rights.
To make a request, email admin@nocturnfilms.com. We may need to confirm it's really you before we act on it. We'll answer within the time the law requires, usually 30 to 45 days. You can also send a request through an authorized agent. If you're in the EEA or UK, you have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
We honor Global Privacy Control signals. Since we don't track you, there isn't anything for them to switch off.
Children
The Site isn't directed at children under 13, and our games are horror games. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we'll delete it.
Security
The Site is served only over HTTPS and doesn't store visitor data in a database. No system is perfectly secure, but there isn't much here to take.
Where information is processed
Our service providers may process information in countries other than the one you live in, including the United States. Where the law requires it, they use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
Links to other sites
Links on the Site to other websites, including our Facebook page, are covered by those websites' own privacy policies, not this one. The Site doesn't embed Facebook content or load anything from Meta, so nothing is sent to Facebook unless you click the link.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the effective date at the top. If the change is significant, we'll also mention it in the news on the home page.
